We know legal stuff is boring, but it keeps the ecosystem safe. Here is everything you need to know.
We keep your money safe and your mind at ease. By using our Secure Vault, you agree to these comprehensive terms designed to protect both creators and clients! โจ

By using the Brandcey Secure Vault payment system, you expressly agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our payment services.
The Secure Vault acts as a neutral holding area. Client funds are deposited here upon contract acceptance and are only released when milestones are approved.
Clients must fully fund the Secure Vault for the current active milestone before the freelancer is permitted to begin work. No exceptions! ๐ก๏ธ
Funds are only released when the client explicitly clicks "Approve & Release". Once released, the transaction is final and irreversible.
If a dispute arises, funds remain locked in the Secure Vault until our internal mediation team makes a binding decision.
Brandcey deducts a flat platform fee from the final released amount. This fee is non-refundable even in the event of a dispute.
Initiating a chargeback outside of the platform dispute resolution process is a violation of these terms and will result in immediate account termination.
All Secure Vault transactions are processed in USD. Currency conversion fees applied by your bank are your sole responsibility.
If a contract sits inactive with funds in the Secure Vault for more than 90 days, we reserve the right to automatically refund the client.
Freelancers are solely responsible for reporting their earnings and paying applicable taxes. Brandcey does not withhold taxes from Secure Vault payouts.
By using the Secure Vault, you also agree to the terms of service of our underlying payment processor (e.g., Stripe).
We may require you to pass identity verification (KYC) before depositing or withdrawing funds from the Secure Vault to prevent money laundering.
The Secure Vault cannot be used to fund illegal activities, adult content, or any project that violates our Community Guidelines.
Clients may choose to release partial funds for a milestone if the work delivered is incomplete but partially acceptable. The remaining funds will stay in the vault.
Freelancers can voluntarily choose to refund the client from the Secure Vault at any time before the funds are officially released.
We utilize bank-level encryption and security measures. However, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
We reserve the right to modify these payment terms at any time. Continued use of the Secure Vault constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
